The challenge
The Eatery Group GmbH is one of the leading hospitality companies in Austria, employing over 1000 people, operating around 70 dining units, and holding about 40 subsidiaries. As the master franchisee of Burger King in Austria, they run 34 of the brand's restaurants and own the Rosenberger motorway service stations, which are being transformed into modern Rosehill multi-brand concepts. These house up to six dining brands, including Burger King and Nordsee. As a design and branding agency, we support The Eatery Group in brand development and the implementation of a new recruiting platform to emotionally anchor the brand among customers and potential employees.

The solution
In addition to the many other brands and companies of The Eatery Group that we have already helped build and accompanied through brand relaunches, this project focused on employee recruitment. After an extensive kick-off meeting with the marketing team, we reached a consensus that a new career page with various trust-building measures and a dedicated configurator was needed to make the application process more engaging for different roles. The goal was to make the gastronomy brands more personal and approachable, establish an emotional connection with potential applicants, and turn them into fans who would work with love and passion for one of The Eatery Group's brands and wholeheartedly contribute to the vision of the gastronomy group.

The result
In close collaboration with the marketing team of the Eatery Group, we implemented an appealing concept that provides applicants with all the essential information and delivers a unique brand experience. Our redesign of the career page on the Eatery Group's website features an elegant black-and-white design with modern visuals. The goal was to present the Eatery Group and its gastronomy brands in a more personal and trustworthy manner. We incorporated storytelling, job listings, employee testimonials, and videos, as well as details about benefits, to make the company culture more tangible. A special feature is the job configurator: applicants can specify their location and desired position and then see all available jobs in their area. After selecting a job and filling out a questionnaire, the application is quickly sent off. This redesign and the interactive configurator not only increased the brand value and reinforced the Eatery Group's status as experts but also turned applicants into enthusiastic fans.
